ALLIANCE FOR THE ARTS
ANGELS LUNCHEON AND FUNDRAISER

Angels of the Alliance is the women's auxiliary of the Alliance for the Arts, the official nonprofit fundraising arm of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Proceeds go to supporting Kids and the Arts School OUtreach Program which brings elementary school children from underserved communities to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza to watch a professional theatrical performance. Proceeds also go to provide theatre rental support to local nonprofit performing arts groups giving them the opportunity to perform on a professional world-class theatre.
The annual luncheon has a table decorating contest and this year they opened it up to designers and extended an invitation to Helen. For the luncheon, she will be setting a table for 8 in a Feng Shui theme. If you'd like to attend and wish to sit at her table, email us so we can be sure to reserve your seat. Tickets are only $125 for this unique event and proceeds go to a great cause!

On October 6th and October 20th, Helen will be speaking at the Whole Foods Market in Thousand Oaks during their Merchant Market. The Merchant Market which runs from 10:30am to 3:00pm will have many local merchants displaying their products. Helen will be there speaking about Feng Shui. Learn some of the basic philosophies that you can implement yourself in your own home. Helen will be giving two talks each day at 11:00am and at 1:00pm. Glendale Unity Fest

On October 13th, Helen will be hosting a Feng Shui booth at the Glendale Unity Fest. Unity Fest transforms Verdugo Park into a celebration of the diverse cultures that make up the community by offering performing and visual arts, crafts, culture and cuisine. The festival is free to the public and there will be children's attractions and exhibits, so bring the entire family. Helen will have Feng Shui products and literature available, and she will be answering questions. You're sure to enjoy the festival so mark your calendars and be sure to come by Helen's booth.
American Cancer Society
Full Bloom Feng Shui has partnered with the American Cancer Society by donating a portion of consulting proceeds to them. Pick up a flyer in the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop of Sherman Oaks, schedule an on-site consultation with us and we will donate $50 of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society when you present us with the flyer. We are also doing a special promotion for the month of October: mention this article when you schedule an on-site consultation and we will donate $30 from the proceeds of that consultation to the American Cancer Society. Your environment gets transformed and the American Cancer Society gets supported.
Feng Shui Course
Transform your environment to transform your life! Helen is teaching an introductory Feng Shui course at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing, in Culver City, CA.
This class covers the history of Feng Shui, the principles upon which it is based, and how to apply them to create environments that support health, prosperity and happiness. Students will design a space, as well as learn to arrange their work area and make a kit to take with them to balance any space to which they travel.

"Open the Curtain on Spring"
A spring Fling Fundraiser for Virtual Theatre Project, for which Helen is a member of the Board of Directors. Hosted by James Denton (Desperate Housewives) and Kyle Lowder (Days of Our Lives, The Bold and the Beautiful).
