McDonald's Picture Gallery Page One of Three
Below are pictures Helen took when she visited the updated McDonald's that incorporated Feng Shui Principles. while there, she spoke with some of the regular patrons who were quite pleased with the changes that had only been made a few weeks prior. They were especially appreciative of the water feature in the dining area, a picture of which is included on the next page of photos.
The View
Looking North across the street from McDonald's at the beautiful snow capped San Gabriel Mountains. It was 80 degrees that day.
One of the Arches
The Famous Golden Arches were updated by placing one arch on each side of the building.
The East Entrance
Entering McDonald's from the East, looking toward the front counter.
The Ordering Counter
This picture shows the eight rows of red tiles that were places as a symbol of fortune. Notice also the uneven lines of the tile grout which creates small obstacles for growth in life.
The 45th Chair?
Perhaps this chair was the additional chair added to total 45. For clarification, 4 or 44 are not inauspicious in the Flying Star practice; in fact, 4 is considered an auspicious star. In the Chinese language, the word for "four" and the word for "death" sound very much alike thus the belief by some that 4 or 44 is not a favorable number.
Red Accents
Some of the tables in the dining area have red inserts; the red accents were added for good luck, laughter and prosperity.
